Mi versión de pecadillo!

Esta es mi versión de pecadillo! Salchichas con cebolla, guisantes, maíz dulce, salsa de tomate con champiñones. Mmmm! Estaba realmente delicioso que se sirve frío. Podría comer esto todos los días!

Translation: This is my version of pecadillo! Sausages with onion, peas, sweetcorn, tomato sauce with mushrooms. Mmmm! It was truly delicious served cold. I could eat this every day!

Ensalada de cangrejo de río

Cangrejos se descontaron en la tienda esta semana, así que compré algunos, sólo para un cambio. Ellos no son muy diferentes de las gambas, pero son un poco más de sabor suave. 

La ensalada que les sirvió no podría ser más sencillo - lechuga y tomates - pero era muy saludable y satisfactoria. Me gusta probar cosas nuevas!

Translation: Crayfish were discounted in the shop this week, so I bought some, just for a change. They are not very different from prawns, but they are a bit more mild in taste. 

The salad I served them with couldn't be more simple - lettuce and tomatoes - but it was very healthy and satisfying. I like to try new things!

Ensalada de pasta

Esta fue una cena muy simple que hice la semana pasada - una ensalada de pasta. Hay brócoli, frijoles y cebolla en la mezcla, con algunos tomates picados (incluyendo la salsa). Fue realmente fresco, nutritivo y me sentí como si estuviera siendo muy saludable cuando comí esto!

Translation: This was a really simple dinner I made last week - a pasta salad. There's broccoli, kidney beans and onions in the mix, with some chopped tomatoes (including the sauce). It was really fresh, nutritious and I felt like I was being very healthy when I ate this!

Plana Duraznos

Estos son tan extraño - 'plana duraznos', que se nombran. Los vi en la tienda y estaban en oferta esa semana, así que me los probé ... Ellos están bien ... Ellos son los mismos que los duraznos normales, pero sólo la mitad del tamaño. Creo que no me molestaré en la compra de ellos otra vez!

Translation: These are so strange - 'flat peaches', they are named. I saw them in the shop and they were on offer that week, so I tried them... They are ok... They are the same as normal peaches but just half the size. I don't think I will bother buying them again!

Pollo "Kiev"

Pollo "Kiev" es lo que tenía para la cena de anoche, con patatas cocidas, la col rizada y brócoli. Un pollo Kiev es el pollo lleno de salsa de mantequilla de ajo, y luego recubierto en pan rallado. Se toman unos 20 minutos para cocinar congeladas. 

Kiev es una ciudad en Ucrania, pero no tengo ni idea de si este plato se originó a partir de ahí!

Translation: Chicken "Kiev" is what I had for dinner last night, with boiled potatoes, kale and brocoli. A chicken Kiev is chicken filled with garlic butter sauce, and then coated in breadcrumbs. They take about 20 minutes to cook from frozen. 

Kiev is a city in Ukraine, but I have no idea if this dish originated from there!

Espinacas y queso feta tarta

El almuerzo de hoy es de espinacas y queso feta tarta con frijoles horneados. Mmmmm! Qué rico! Me lo robó del congelador de mi madre en el fin de semana - que se veía bien y no tenía comida en casa jaja! Me pregunto si se ha dado cuenta de que ha desaparecido todavía ...?

TRANSLATION: Today's lunch is spinach and feta pie with baked beans. Mmmmm! How delicious! I stole it from my mum's freezer at the weekend - it looked good and I had no food at home haha! I wonder if she has noticed it has disappeared yet...?

Una envoltura de pato picante

Esto fue parte de mi almuerzo hoy. Con un yogur de fresa y tres ciruelas, comí una envoltura de pato picante. Estaba delicioso! No suelo comer pato así que era agradable al gusto algun distinta de pollo!

Translation: This was part of my lunch today. With a strawberry yoghurt and three plums, I ate a spicy duck wrap. It was delicious! I don't often eat duck so it was nice to taste something other than chicken!
