Translation: This was a lovely day. In May (sorry, it was a long time ago!) Sarah, Kat and I took our grandmother for afternoon tea. Now you know who the girls are, I thought I would post this ...
Afternoon tea is very special in England. It's more than a cup of tea and a slice of cake. It is much more complicated and delicious. We went to a lovely hotel (not far from London) and filled our bellies with lots of goodies.
I hope you can see these photos clearly - the first photo is a savory course, delicious mousse and lots of things like that.
The second image is a delicate cheese on toast and a serving of pate.
Image three is of the delicate glass teapots our tea was served in, which were really gentil.
Then we have a picture of the cakes. Mmmm so yummy! There was a small Victoria Sponge cake, scones, mousse and proffiteroles. I almost ran out of space in my stomach!
The setting was beautiful, and it was nice to spend some time with my girls.
